Welcome back to “Forzaeris!” — #Forzathoned out yet? This’ll be the last one until later this week — promise! To be honest, this should have been up sooner but with Forza Horizon 4 launching and the early access and all that… At any rate, this month, the Forza Motorsport 7 #Forzathon October challenges started on October 1st at 10:00 a.m. PT and closes at 11:59 p.m. PT on October 31st so you have into the wee hours of November 1st (depending on your time zone) to finish the challenges and snag the rewards. In addition to a purse full of Credits, you can also snag the 2011 Bugatti Veyron Super Sport if you’re a Carpass member.

Check out the complete challenge list and rewards below for the newly added challenges. NOTE: the VIP challenges are bonus events for VIP members while the Carpass challenges are bonus events for Carpass holders.

As with previous #Forzathon events, most of these can be completed in Free Play mode and setting the number of Drivatars to 0 to guarantee a win. Unless otherwise specified, set the race to a Timed Race for 30 seconds and let the timer run out to complete/win the race.

October Monthly Races

Pretty easy stuff here. Simply complete 10 races to earn yourself an easy 300,000 Credits.

October Monthly Multiplayer

Another easy one, simply head into multiplayer mode, finish five races and you’ll snag another 150,000 Credits.

October VIP

As the name implies, the October VIP Challenges are only for those who are Forza Motorsport 7 VIP members.

To start off, hop into the 2014 BMW M4 Coupe Forza Edition, let the timer run out, and proceed to the next challenge.

Next, head over to the Rivals mode, select the VIP events, and beat a Rival in the VIP Rivals “VIP – Ode to Station Wagon” event — simple stuff!

Head back to single player, select Rio Mini Circuit, set it to Circuit Race, 4 laps, and finish them up quickly to move on.

For the next race, select an A Class car, let the timer run out, and you’ll be on to the final challenge for the October VIP set.

Finally, head over to Bathurst, let the timer run out, and you’ll snag yourself a cool 150,000 Credits.

October Carpass

Like the previous set of challenges, this one is another exclusive one. This time, for those who own the Forza Motorsport 7 Carpass.

Pretty easy stuff here as well. Hop into the 1976 Chevrolet #76 Greenwood Corvette and let the timer run out.

Next, switch to Nürburgring, Maple Valley, or Brands Hatch, switch it to Rain for weather, and let the timer run out. Restart the race and repeat to move on to the next Challenge.

As you know by now if you’ve followed these #Forzathon posts for any length of time, I like to complete my single lap drift challenges at the Dubai Mountain Circuit. Select Drift, set the timer to 8:00 (this will get you two laps), hop in the 1965 Hoonigan Ford Hoonicorn Mustang, and drift around the track ensuring you get a score of at least 7,500 (which is fairly easy).

Next, head over to Le Mans Circuit de la Sarthe Full Circuit, set it to two laps, hop into a P2 or X class car, and hit 190 mph (306 km/h) on one of the straightaways. You should be able to do it on the first lap, but setting it to two ensures completion.

Finally, head over to Road America East or West, set it to 4 laps, and finish them up to snag that 2011 Bugatti Veyron Super Sport!

October Showcase

The last set of challenges is another five. First up, hop into a B Class car, let the timer run out on three consecutive races, and you’ll move on.

Next, you’ll have to head over to Rivals Mode, select Featured Rivals, Supercharged Compact, and beat a Rival’s time.

Once that’s done, head back to Single Player, Timed Race, change the car type to Forza GT, and let the timer run out in the next 2 races.

Once complete, hop into the 1975 Fiat X1/9 (rent or buy it if you don’t already own it), and finish the race to move on to the final challenge for the month.

Finally, switch back to Circuit Race, set it to 4 laps at Sonoma Raceway Short Circuit, complete the laps and you’ll get an extra 210,000 Credits.

Combining Challenges

There are many ways to combine challenges this month. Ignore trying to complete 10 races as that will come as you complete the other challenges. Depending on how you progress, you can combine the A Class or B Class car races with winning races in the rain, at any of the tracks, or the completing a specified number of laps at a specific track. In any case, just check out your current progress and see if there is any way you can double up your currently available challenges to shave off a bit of time.

What do you think about the October #Forzathon events and the vehicles and prizes up for grabs this month? Are the challenges too easy? Let us know in the comments below or on Google+Twitter, or Facebook.
