Using a screen protector on your phone is one of the best pieces of insurance you can possibly have. Buying a screen protector generally involves you exchanging some money for one. But that wasn’t the case on Black Friday on Caseology’s website. The company suffered a technical glitch that allowed every single screen protector on their website to be checked out for free.

The internet exploded and social media was abuzz with people ordering their free screen protector and in some cases, screen protectors. Caseology did little to respond to the social media frenzy but it seems they were well aware of the problem. The company has fixed the problem and has started canceling the orders placed for free screen protectors. Users who ordered them started receiving emails like the one below.
Dear Valued Customer,
My name is Amy, and I would like to personally thank you for shopping with Caseology.
As you are aware, we experienced a technical error on our site during our Black Friday Sale that
enabled multiple purchases of our tempered glass product at $0.00.
We noticed that your order was one of those affected by this error – and we regret to inform you
that we have had to cancel the affected order. We are unable to fulfill your order due to the limited
quantities currently available of our tempered glass product.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We would like to extend a
