Nokia 9 PureView promotional video leaks

Android / Mobile

Of course, the most interesting thing about the Nokia 9 PureView are the 5-cameras on the back.

Smartphone leaks have become commonplace these days so it’s no surprise to find a promotional video for the Nokia 9 PureView has been uploaded to YouTube. If you’ve been waiting for the Nokia 9 PureView, well, this video might make you very happy.

The display is nearly bezel-less with just a sliver of a side bezel and slim top and bottom bezels. The display is 5.99″ with a 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution and HDR10 compliant. There’s also a fingerprint sensor built into the display, something more phones will have in 2019.

The Nokia 9 PureView runs on Android One and launches with Android 9 (Pie) and will have 2-years worth of software updates guaranteed. Nokia is advertising free unlimited storage with Google Photos but that’s already available for everyone. Google Photo storage is free when you upload them at their smaller resolution.

All of the other Google goodies are here of course: Google Lens, Google Assistant, and all the Google apps you’re used to. The interface looks like it’s relatively clean giving you a mostly pure Android experience.

The Nokia 9 PureView also has Qi wireless charging and will sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, 6GB of RAM and, 128GB of storage. Of course, the most interesting thing about the Nokia 9 PureView are the 5-cameras on the back. As Nokia usually does, they’ve partnered with ZEISS Optics for these cameras. The cameras take 5 simultaneous shots that are supposed to give you better clarity and better low-light performance with 10x more light captured.
