Acer announces new thin and light TravelMate X3410 notebook

CES 2019 is just days away but Acer has decided it couldn’t wait to announce the new TravelMate X3410. Acer says the TravelMate X3410 is thin and light with optimized productivity and security for on-the-go professionals. The target market for this laptop are small and medium-sized businesses but consumers can use it as well.

According to Acer, the TravelMate X3410 provides up to 15-hours of battery life on a single charge and will get most professionals through their day with ease. The sleek and lightweight design is perfect for those on the move and its durability is great for those who are a bit rougher on their devices.

The X3410 is only 20mm and weighs 3.5 lbs. and also meets eight United States military testing standards. The X3410 also comes with a backlit keyboard, fingerprint sensor which supports Windows Hello.

TravelMate X3410

Supporting Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080) with IPS technology, the TravelMate X3410’s 14-inch display provides clear viewing of documents, video, and web pages, even at off-axis angles. Acer says the chiclet-style keyboard with 1.3mm key travel ensures comfortable typing with excellent tactile feedback. It’s also LED backlit, enabling business travelers to stay productive in low-light situations, such as airplanes and commuter trains. A wide Precision Touchpad provides comfortable and responsive navigation and 27 percent more surface space than prior X3 generations.

The Acer TravelMate X3410 is available now in the United States with a one-year international traveler’s warranty. This warranty is valid in more than 30 countries. Pricing starts at $899.99USD for an Intel Core i3/8GB DDR4 RAM/128GB SSD model.
