[UPDATED] Forza Horizon 3 #Forzathon February 1-8: “Counting the Days” and new achievements

, ,

Welp, here we are with quite possibly the final Forza Horizon 3 #Forzathon. While we still can’t find confirmation, the title of the #Forzathon this week coupled with the challenge names and the introduction of four new achievements leads us to believe these events for Forza Horizon 3 are at an end…

[UPDATE 01/02/2019]: Brian Ekberg, Forza’s Community Manager, has confirmed this is the second-to-last Forza Horizon 3 #Forzathon. On that note, the achievements listed below are actually next week’s final challenges.

Next week we’re introducing the final set of #Forzathon events into Forza Horizon 3. These events will go live on February 8 and, unlike previous #Forzathon events which rewarded cars, credits or XP in Forza Horizon 3, this final batch of events will award achievements, each worth 125 Gamerscore points. Each #Forzathon event/achievement (and subsequent Gamerscore reward) can only be earned once.

The Forza Horizon 3 #Forzathon February 1-8th event gives you a chance at the Porsche 918 Spyder, Lamborghini Sesto Elemento, and the Mini John Cooper Works GP HE. This will also be the final #Forzathon sale so spend all your hard earned credits and save 30% on everything in the Autoshow! While you’re at it, don’t forget to check out this week’s Forza Horizon 4 #Forzathon challenges.

Playground Games recently shifted the times for their Forza Horizon 3 #Forzathons. This Forza Horizon 3 #Forzathon event started at 1:00 p.m. PT today and closes at 12:59 p.m. PT on February 8th.

Counting the Days #Forzathon

Check out the complete task list and rewards below:

  • Electric Performance: Win a Championship to earn the Porsche 918 Spyder
  • Elements of Success: Get 3 Stars on the Rainforest Reveal Danger Sign to earn the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento
  • The Missing Legend: Perform 10 Barrel Roll Skills to receive the Mini John Cooper Works GP HE
  • The Sale to End All Sales: Sale – 30% OFF ALL Cars in the Autoshow! This is the last chance to buy discounted cars.

Electric Performance

Easy stuff here, simply win a Championship to snag yourself (another) Porsche 918 Spyder.

Elements of Success

The Rainforest Reveal Danger Sign is probably the easiest to get 3 Stars on in the game, so you shouldn’t have too much trouble doing so. Once you do, you’ll snag yourself a Lamborghini Sesto Elemento.

The Missing Legend

The best spot for Barrel Rolls is the Timber Mill. Line up right on the edge of the log jumps and successfully land 10 Barrel Roll skills to earn the Mini John Cooper Works GP HE.

Not much to say here except to spend like you’ve never spent before! Given this is the last chance to buy discounted cars, we’re pretty sure we’re nearing the end of Forza Horizon 3 #Forzathon events.

New Achievements

The folks over at TrueAchievements noticed four new achievements totalling 500GS (125GS each) have been added to the game as well.

  • #Forzathon Cleaning Up the Festival: Complete 1000 Races or Snowman Skills
  • #Forzathon See You Horizon Boss: Complete 1500 Races or Kangaroo Skills
  • #Forzathon The Final Tour: Complete 2000 Races or “Hot Wheels” Skills
  • #Forzathon And Thanks For all the Drifts: Complete 2500 Races or Ultimate Skills

According to some players, the achievements will pop with a combination of races or mentioned skills. When I logged in, the 1500 races/Kangaroo Skills and 2500 Races/Ultimate Skills both popped but not the other two (yet anyways), so who knows… at any rate, time for some more racing and skills to get those out of the way!
