Just before MWC 2019 starts tomorrow in Barcelona, Lenovo has announced the ThinkPad T490s, T490, T590, X390, X390 Yoga, and the ThinkVision M14 mobile display.
The new ThinkPad T and X series laptops are designed to offer the best secure mobile computing experience. With features like LTE-A Wireless LAN and ThinkShield support, the new laptops offer peace of mind while working on the go.

The new ThinkPads offer up additional security in a number of ways. The Match-on-Chip fingerprint reader ensures your biometric information never leaves the chip. ThinkShutter allows you to physically cover your camera while PrivacyGuard allows you to toggle screen privacy easily. Finally, PrivacyAlert will even warn you if someone is snooping over your shoulder.
For administrators, Lenovo has updated the ThinkPad BIOS to a new graphical user interface, making it easier to navigate. The updated BIOS will allow administrators to restrict port access, set remote supervisor/access passwords, and remotely manage system deployment. The new BIOS even has a “self-healing” feature which will restore the last known good backup copy in the event of corruption or a malicious attack.

The ThinkVision M14 offers up a mobile display solution with USB-C pass-through ports. It can be used as a 14-inch FHD second screen for increased productivity or to use as a means to share content with customers and colleagues. Ultra-slim at 4.6mm, it provides 300 nit brightness and weighs just 1.3 lbs (595g).
