Create your own Ultimate Ears BOOM 3 with myBOOM Studio

|

Let’s face it… when choosing tech these days, we’re often given limited choices when it comes to looks and colours. Some brands offer up two or three alternate colours for phones or speakers but even still, it’s not usually enough to make it your own. Ultimate Ears is looking to change that and is now allowing purchasers to add their own style to the Ultimate Ears BOOM 3 Bluetooth speaker with myBOOM Studio.

“Our speakers have always reflected the unique styles of our listeners, but up until today, our fans were limited with the color and design options we made available to them. With myBOOM 3, we’ve created this enjoyable and unique design studio where music enthusiasts can show their creativity and give their favorite Ultimate Ears BOOM 3 speaker a truly personalized look and feel.”

Charlotte Johs, general manager of Ultimate Ears

myBOOM Studio is available on desktop and mobile and allows you to choose from twelve fabrics — including Jungle Bell, Frozen Kingdom, or NY Kitty — and eight colour options for the spine, caps, loop, and volume buttons. Ultimate Ears is quick to point out that this is just the start and more fabrics and additional colour options will be added over time.

As for the BOOM 3 itself, it features 360-degree sound, deep bass, a Magic Button, POWER UP charging dock compatibility, an IP67 rating, and a portable size. In addition, the BOOM 3 can be paired with up to 150 BOOM or MEGABOOM speakers for even louder, fuller sound.

myBOOM 3 can be configured on the Ultimate Ears website or at select T-Mobile stores in Chicago and Miami with a retail price of US$179.99.
