GravaStar Mars Bluetooth speaker offers sci-fi looks, decent sound, and fantastic battery life

Let’s face it. For the most part, Bluetooth speakers are pretty boring when it comes to the looks department. Sure, there are options to fit just about every lifestyle option but for the most part, they are rectangularish, squarish, or disc-shaped. There are a few companies, however, that offer up uniquely designed speakers and Zoeao is one of them. The GravaStar Mars Bluetooth speaker just hit Indiegogo and is offering up sci-fi looks on top of decent sound and a long-lasting battery.

We’ve received an early review unit and it definitely looks like something out of a sci-fi movie. To be honest, we were impressed with not only the actual size of the speaker but also the quality of the materials used in it. The GravaStar has a sleek, metal shell with built-in green lights that can be turned on or off. If you are any kind of collector, the GravaStar Mars will fit right at home with your other movie collectibles and you shouldn’t be surprised if someone asks you what movie it’s out of.

With its 70mm, 20W full-range speaker and a large bass driver, the speaker does indeed offer up some pretty big sound. In addition, two can be paired together for even bigger sound. With a 10,000 mAh battery, the company claims a 30h plus battery life and so far we’re sitting at just over 20 hours on our review unit on a single charge. Not only that, the speaker comes with a USB-C port for faster charging.

Shipping is expected to start before the end of March to early backers. The Gravastar Mars Bluetooth speaker is available to purchase from the Gravastar website in various colours with a regular price of US$199.95.

As with any crowdfunding campaign, there is a risk supporting them. We’ve recently heard about several that we’ve written about that have failed or are having issues. Our reporting on Indiegogo campaigns does not mean we support or are affiliated with them. Support at your own risk.

That being said, the campaign is fully funded and in the production stage. As mentioned above, we do have one for review so check back in the next week or so for our full review!
