The latest season of Fortnite continues and that means the Fortnite Season 8 Week 8 challenges are here. As usual, challenges are split between free for everyone and extra ones for Battle Pass owners. Those who have purchased a Battle Pass will get the free challenges with some bonus challenges for having purchased the Pass.
Week 8 challenges
Free
- Stage 1 of 2: Search the treasure map signpost in Paradise Palms (1): 1 Battle Stars
- Use Vending Machines in different matches (3): 5 Battle Stars
- Hard: Deal damage to opponents while using at least one balloon (100): 10 Battle Stars

- Stage 2: Search the X on the treasure map signpost in Paradise Palms
Use Vending Machines in different matches
As easy as this challenge sounds, it can be done in 3 different matches as required. Once you get to a Vending Machine, use and be on your way.
Deal damage to opponents while using at least one balloon
While balloons can help you get around a bit faster, they do have their downfalls if you’re getting shot at. As hard as this challenge may be, all you need to do is deal 100 damage to players while using at least one balloon.
Battle Pass
- Search Jigsaw Puzzle Pieces under bridges and in caves (7): 5 Battle Stars
- Stage 1 of 2: Dial the Durr Burger number on the big telephone west of Fatal Fields (1): 3 Battle Stars
- Hard: Eliminate opponents at Dusty Divot or Lucky Landing (7): 10 Battle Stars
- Hard: Eliminate opponents from at least 50m away (2) 10 Battle Stars
Search Jigsaw Puzzle Pieces under bridges and in caves
This is a new challenge and this may require a bit of time if you don’t remember where each bridge of cave is… but we’re here to help you find them faster. You will need to travel to some locations and get 7 Puzzle Pieces.
- Bridge: Over the river near Lucky Landing
- Bridge: Over the river near Shifty Shaft
- Bridge: Over the river at the Southern part of Paradise Palms
- Bridge: Northwest of Paradise Palms
- Cave: In Yeti Cave West of Polar Peak
- Cave: In a cave Northeast of Tilted Towers
- Cave: In a big hole near The Block
Stage 1 of 2: Dial the Durr Burger number on the big telephone west of Fatal Fields
- Stage 1: Dial the Durr Burger number on the big telephone west of Fatal Fields
- Stage 2: Dial the Pizza Pit number on the big telephone east of The Block
Eliminate opponents at Dusty Divot or Lucky Landing
Everyone will be heading to these locations after jumping from the bus, but once you land at either Dusty Divot or Lucky Landing, find a gun and take some players out to complete this challenge.
Eliminate opponents from at least 50m away
This challenge has been around a few other times before, so players should be used to it already, but all you’ll need to do is eliminate two opponents who are at least 50m away.
