The Lanmodo Vast Pro wants to make night driving safer for users with its night vision system in your vehicle. Lanmodo says, its sources show that the majority of accidents occur at night and the cause is usually poor or impeded visibility.

Lanmodo also says that according to State Farm insurance, there are over 1.2 million accidents a year caused by deer with the majority of those occurring during night hours. The Lanmodo Vast Pro is the company’s new night vision system which is supposed to help assist drivers in seeing better in night conditions.

The Vast Pro has a reach of 300M (984 feet) which could be helpful in avoiding road hazards at night. The system is also full 1080p HD which should give you a nice clear picture on the systems 8.2″ display which is mounted on the dash. Here is a quick rundown of some of the features of the Lanmodo Vast Pro night vision system:

  • Wide-angle vision 36°

Lanmodo doesn’t have the product out to market just yet. They are taking pre-orders and launching an Indiegogo campaign soon. The early bird pricing is US$199 with a final retail price of US$599, which does seem expensive. It’s an interesting product at the early bird pricing but retail seems a bit out there. The crowdfunding campaign hasn’t started but you can sign up early on the company’s website.

As with any crowdfunding campaign, there is a risk supporting them. We’ve recently heard about several that we’ve written about that have failed or are having issues. Our reporting on crowdfunding campaigns does not mean we support or are affiliated with them. Support at your own risk.
