The next season of Netflix’s Black Mirror is still a couple of weeks out but the streaming company has just released the Black Mirror trailers and episode titles for Season 5. With a short three episode season, the list is pretty short but nonetheless, it’s here.
Without further ado, and in no particular order, here are the upcoming episode titles and trailers!
“Striking Vipers”
In “Striking Vipers,” starring Anthony Mackie, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Nicole Beharie, Pom Klementieff, and Ludi Lin, two estranged college friends reunite in later life, triggering a series of events that could alter their lives forever.
“Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too”
Starring Miley Cyrus, Angourie Rice, and Madison Davenport, “Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too” is about a lonely teenager who yearns to connect with her favourite pop star. Except the pop star’s charmed existence isn’t quite as rosy it appears…
“Smithereens”
In this episode, which stars Andrew Scott, Damson Idris, and Topher Grace, a cab driver with an agenda becomes the centre of attention on a day that rapidly spirals out of control.
As is usually the case with Black Mirror, these episodes really bridge the gap between reality and fantasy — but just barely. Given the scenarios and recent advances in technology, the subjects covered here are pretty believable and not that far fetched at all.
The three new Black Mirror episodes from Charlie Booker and executive producer Annabel Jones hit Netflix on June 5th.
