Create watch faces for Apple Watch, Samsung, and Wear OS with Mr. Time

Watch faces for your smartwatch are fun to use to distinguish your watch from others. Watch faces give users a sense of individuality and there are plenty of choices on the market. While I was out on my trip to South Korea, a friend clued me in on Mr. Time, a new watch face making app that can be used cross-platform.

This means you can use Mr. Time on Apple’s watchOS, Samsung watches, and Android’s Wear OS. I honestly have yet to try it, but I don’t do much customization these days. But I thought I’d write it up so you’d at least know that the option is there.

From the looks of it, watch faces are much easier to customize and create for Wear OS and Samsung Watch as watchOS tends to be a bit more locked down. While you can certainly use Mr. Time on your Apple Watch, it’s customization is going to be limited. This is true for all of the other watch face making apps on the Apple App Store so this comes as no surprise.

Check out the Mr. Time tutorial below, I think it will give you a pretty good idea of how the app works and whether or not you’d like to actually try it.

The Mr. Time watch faces app is available on the Google Play store, Samsung Galaxy App Store, and the Apple App Store. We noticed the ratings in the Apple App Store aren’t as good but using custom watch faces on Apple Watch is nowhere near as good as on the other platforms.
