At RazerCon 2023 today, the company announced upgrades and additions to a few of its popular lines. These include the Huntsman V3 Pro line, an all-new Synapse application, new gaming chairs, and a Razer Game Room line introducing new products for better home lighting integration. The company also announced new collaborations with Dolce&Gabbana and Automobili Lamborghini.

Let’s dive in and see what’s new and updated!

Razer Game Room (Aether lights)

If you’ve owned a Razer peripheral, chances are you’re familiar with Chroma RGB which allows gamers to bathe their PC setups in custom RGB LED glows. Today, the new Aether Lights are a set of three new products that extend Chrome RGB lighting beyond the PC and into your game room and/or the rest of the house.

To start off, the Aeither Lamp and Lamp Pro deliver functional and aesthetically pleasing lighting, ideal for desks and gaming setups. The Pro version added multi-zone lighting to the mix, allowing users to elevate their gaming, movie, and music experiences.

Smart bulbs are nothing new, and the Aether Light Bulb will allow you to swap out your regular light bulbs and sync them to your gaming setup if used in your gaming space. Of course, you can use these in other spaces in your house as well.

Finally, the Aether Light Strip is a 2-meter RGB LED light strip for enhancing your gaming desk setup or accenting room features like shelves. Also available is a 1-meter light strip extender in case you need slightly longer lengths for your setup.

The Aether products are all controlled by the Razer Gamer Room Mobile App, allowing you to modify settings, create automated routines, and ensure integration with other smart devices. In addition, the app supports the Matter standard, allowing for seamless integration and connectivity in your home complete with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa voice assistants. The app is slated to be released later this year.

As far as availability is concerned, the new home lighting products will be available in Q4 of this year at the suggested MSRPs:

  • Razer Aether Lamp Pro: $129.99/€149.99 MSRP
  • Razer Aether Lamp: $79.99/€89.99 MSRP
  • Razer Aether Light Bulb: $49.99/€59.99 MSRP
  • Razer Aether Light Strip: $129.99/€149.99 MSRP
  • Razer Aether Light Strip Extender: $29.99/€34.99 MSRP

Huntsman V3 Pro line

The Huntsman lineup was designed in collaboration with esports pros. The Huntsman V3 Pro line continues this tradition, offering an “unmatched blend of innovation, precision, and durability.” The biggest upgrade here is the new Razer Analog Optical Switch Gen-2.

“At the core of the Huntsman V3 Pro line is the Razer™ Analog Optical Switch Gen-2, which adds a new level of responsiveness while gaming. Its fully adjustable actuation ranges from 0.1 – 4.0 mm now allows gamers to completely customize their desired actuation points for each key and set shallower actuation points for swifter keystrokes, tuning it to their unique gameplay needs. Every switch on every keyboard is carefully factory-calibrated for utmost precision, while being immune to magnetic interference. The switches are tuned to a 40 grams actuation force, which is preferred by pro players, and allows for rapid actions in intense FPS gaming scenarios.”

For those who game on the go, a Huntsman V3 Pro Mini is also available.

All three models will be available in October with the following pricing:

Fujin Gaming Chairs

Razer has had gaming chairs for a few years now. Typically speaking, gaming chairs feature either a leather/leatherette or fabric finish. I’ve been using a mesh chair at work for ages now, and I much prefer it to the more solid finish styles. As part of its gaming chair lineup, the company has added the Fujin and Fujin Pro mesh chairs that provide “unmatched breathable comfort and advanced features for ultimate support and customization.”

The Fujin gaming chair is available now from Razer.com for $649.99/€699.99 while the Fujin Pro gaming chair is set to be released later this year for $1049.99/€1199.99.

The New Razer Synapse

Razer Synapse is the controlling hub of Razer peripherals. The current iteration is Synapse 3 but that’s about to change. Later this year, the New Razer Synapse (the company is dropping the version number) will launch, featuring a new architecture that’s up to 30% faster than Synapse 3, as well as a design overhaul.

The New Razer Synapse beta will begin later this year. You can sign up for beta access at Razer.com/Synapse-New.

The New Razer Chroma App

Currently part of the Synapse 3 app, the company is breaking out its lighting controls into a new Chroma app. Not only will you be able to fully control all your Chroma lighting through this standalone app, but it is also compatible with over 55 third-party hardware vendors and nearly 300 natively integrated Chroma-enabled games.

Interested fans can sign up for the Razer Chroma app open beta starting later this year by visiting Razer.com/Chroma.

Haute couture meets gaming with the Dolce&Gabbana Razer Collection. Not only does the collection feature clothing, but also limited editions of the world’s first Chroma RGB gaming chair.

“The launch will come in two parts, featuring the collaboration’s monogram and unique zebra prints across the range. The Dolce&Gabbana | Razer ready-to-wear collection features a thoughtfully curated range of apparel, with statement pieces and versatile essentials. The collection is the fashion house’s take on gamer’s style while using Razer’s signature edgy aesthetic. Meanwhile, the hardware selection will showcase Razer’s award-winning peripherals, inspired by Dolce&Gabbana’s Italian luxury heritage and artisanal design elements. With only 1,337 units available globally, the limited-edition collection will also feature the world’s first Razer Chroma RGB gaming chair – the Dolce&Gabbana | Razer Enki Pro – Chroma Edition as a conceptual showcase.”
