Slim 5i

All Lenovo Legion series laptops come with up to 32 GB of 5600MHz DDR5 RAM, and up to 1 TB M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. The all-new Copilot key is also now on every Lenovo Legion 7i keyboard, so your everyday AI companion is just a keystroke away. The Legion 7i (16”, 9) features up to Wi-Fi 72 as well as a TrueStrike keyboard with per-key RGB and 1.5 mm key travel, while the Lenovo Legion 5i and Lenovo Legion Slim 5 come with Wi-Fi 6E2 and TrueStrike keyboards with up to 4-zone RGB and 1.5 mm key travel.

New for this year is the Legion “Coldfront: Hyper” thermal solution, available on the Lenovo Legion 7i and Lenovo Legion 5i. This is an entirely new thermal solution that has fully reinvented the path that air takes through the chassis when cooling the laptop.

Hot air from the chips is forced through a channel-like hyperbaric chamber in the center of the laptop. The bottom D-cover is designed to prevent hot air exhausting out the back vent from mixing with the cold air being pulled in by the dual fans. This optimizes heat exchange and keeps the laptops’ hardware cooler and the frame rates higher.

This results in a max output of 175W in Extreme Mode on the thinner Lenovo Legion 7i, and up to 190W max TDP on the Lenovo Legion 5i, while keeping the keyboard cooler and more comfortable even under heavy processor loads. Lenovo Legion Series laptops also feature PureSight displays, which are per-unit color calibrated.

The Legion 7i (16”, 9) is available with either a 16” 3.2K 16:10 IPS display with 165Hz refresh, 100% DCI-P3 support, and 450 nits brightness for extra fidelity whether gaming, designing, or creating content, or a 16” WQXGA 16:10 display with 240Hz refresh and 100% sRGB for users who require faster display refresh rates.

This latter panel is also available on the Lenovo Legion 5i and Lenovo Legion Slim 5. eSports Display software allows gamers to turn on Dynamic response time, accelerating the LCD response time, reducing image blur and enhancing the clarity of outlines. Also included in the software are a selectable-position FPS display and an aim assist reticle for that extra edge in first-person shooter games.

The Lenovo Legion Tower 5i can be configured with up to 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900F processors, up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 GPUs, and up to 32 GB of 5600MHz DDR5 RAM. The TrueStrike keyboards on Legion Pro series laptops come with four switchable keycaps and either per-key Legion Spectrum RGB lighting on the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i or optional 4-zone Spectrum RGB on the Legion Pro 5i.
