There’s a lot of opinion surrounding director Michael Bay and his series of Transformers films. Some people love his style of movie making and some detest it. I’m a middle of the road fan here. I enjoyed the Transformer films for what they were and I’ll probably enjoy this one for what it is. The newest trailer from Michael Bay just hit the internet, so have a look.
As you can see it’s classic Michael Bay, but I’m looking forward to this one too. If you’re a fan or just curious, you should take some time to check out Michael Bay’s website. He has some pretty cool renders and other stuff on his site and Flickr account. The render below of Optimus Prime is just one of the awesome pieces of artwork on the site. This is where I fall in the middle of the road, while I agree with many opinions on the content of the Transformers films and I might agree somewhat on the way the films were made. I absolutely love what he’s done with the Transformers visually. He’s got a good bunch of talent that has really brought out the life in one of my childhood loves. The Transformers, GI Joe and He-Man were among the Saturday morning cartoons I never missed. There were many others but I digress. June is fast approaching. I think this is one worth going to the theater for. Love Bay or hate him, I think it’s worthy of the big screen experience. What do you think? Are you going to check it out?
