XOTIC PC Adds New AMD Radeon R9 Nano GPU To Lineup

|

Boutique gaming PC builder XOTIC PC has announced today the addition of the small but powerful AMD Radeon R9 Nano as a new configuration option for its most popular custom gaming desktop systems, including the “Hot Hardware Recommended” Executioner series.

“The amount of power AMD has stuffed into the Radeon™ R9 Nano is absolutely incredible,” said Justin Nolte, CEO of XOTIC PC. “It is an uncompromising technical marvel, capable of staggering performance, with support for the state-of-the-art technologies that our hardcore gaming customers demand. We’re very excited to incorporate the Nano into our small-form-factor PCs and our full-size high-performance rigs, enabling gamers to reach blistering benchmarks with power to spare.”

The new AMD Radeon R9 Nano is the world’s first small-form-factor GPU with AMD-innovated High-Bandwidth Memory (HBM) integrated on-chip. Measuring in at just six inches in length, it packs a considerable performance punch with a 4096-bit memory interface allowing for 60 percent more bandwidth than GDDR5 GPUs. The Radeon R9 Nano is designed with 4K resolution and VR gaming in mind, delivering an unprecedented level of performance for Mini-ITX-based PCs. The GPU also supports the latest graphics APIs – DirectX 12 (including asynch shaders and multi-threaded command buffer recording), OpenGL 4.5 and Vulcan.

XOTIC PC’s Executioner desktops start at $1066USD ($1565 with the R9 Nano) and the AMD Radeon R9 Nano has a launch price of $649USD.
