Marvel’s Super Bowl 50 TV spot for Captain America: Civil War has hit the Internet just ahead of its airing during the game.
The spot shows most of the characters involved, from Captain America and Iron Man to Winter Soldier, Black Widow, The Falcon, Black Panther, Scarlet Witch, War Machine, Hawkeye, The Vision, and Ant Man. The spot is simple enough, playing on the “United we stand, divided we fall” saying and ends with a screen urging you to choose your team on Twitter with the hashtags #TeamCap or #TeamIronMan.
If you’ve read Marvel’s Civil War comic series, you know that the superheroes have become divided due to the politics surrounding a superhero registry, and as with any divisive issue, some superheroes are for the registry while others are against it. So far, we know that #TeamCap consists of Winter Soldier, The Falcon, Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye, and Ant Man, while #TeamIronMan consists so far of Black Widow, Black Panther, War Machine, and The Vision.
