Star Trek 50th Anniversary TV & Movie Collection Coming To Blu-ray

The first episode of Star Trek aired back on September 8, 1966, and to commemorate the 50th Anniversary, CBS and Paramount will be releasing the biggest and most comprehensive Star Trek collection ever offered. The limited edition Star Trek 50th Anniversary TV and Movie Collection gift set includes 30 discs, and includes every feature film and TV show which featured the original crew, and also includes a new multi-part documentary with nearly 2 hours of new footage.

The set will be released in a collectible package, and includes Star Trek: The Animated Series, a newly released Director’s Cut of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn, an exclusive Starfleet pin, and new mini posters for the Star Trek through Star Trek VI movies, designed by Juan Ortiz.

The 30-disc set includes the following:

The Star Trek 50th Anniversary TV and Movie Collection will be released on September 6th, pricing is unavailable at this time but we don’t expect it’ll be that cheap.
