Rockstar Games teasing Red Dead Redemption fans

Fans of Rockstar Games’ popular Red Dead Redemption game have been getting teased by the game developer over the past couple days. It all started yesterday with a simple tweet.

Of course, this immediately led to gamers and fans of the popular game to start speculating on what it could mean, with the obvious conclusion being that a sequel to Red Dead Redemption would be announced soon. Of course, Rockstar Games continued the teasing with another tweet this morning with yet another single image. The second tweet definitely alludes to some sort of cowboy western type game…

In addition to the tweets, the company posted a couple of blog posts with the same images, and updated their social media icons to a red Rockstar logo. Gamers have been practically begging Rockstar Games for a sequel for the 2010 game, which was released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. When Xbox announced their Backward Compatibility program Red Dead Redemption was one of the top requested games people wanted to be playable on the Xbox One. They eventually got their wish back in July when the game was made backwards compatible.

Earlier this year, a supposed map for a Red Dead Redemption map was leaked as well, fueling the desire for a sequel to the game. These latest tweets certainly aren’t helping, and hopefully an official announcement will be coming soon.
