Han Solo: A Smuggler’s Trade is a fan film worth watching

Star Wars has produced a serious number of amazing and memorable characters and it’s hard to argue that Han Solo isn’t one of the best. Filmmaker and actor Jamie Costa also thinks highly of Han Solo enough to make a fan film titled, Han Solo: A Smuggler’s Trade. By now everyone knows we lost the Corellian smuggler turned General in Stars Wars: The Force Awakens but Costa isn’t so ready to let go of the character as Disney was. The fan film is only thirteen minutes long but it’s certainly well done and well thought out. Costa took to Kickstarter to fund the film and walked away with more than what he was initially asking for.

Star Wars fans and filmmakers joined together to celebrate the galaxy’s favorite Corellian smuggler! Han Solo sets out on a new adventure in this Star Wars fan film! *This is a non-profit unofficial fan film that is not intended for commercial use. It was made solely for fun. Characters are owned by Lucasfilm/Disney and this fan-film is not connected in any way to said companies. We hope you enjoy 🙂

With Rogue One: A Star Wars Story out in theaters now, this little gem is probably getting overlooked, good thing we’re sharing it with you to pass along to others. It’s worth taking thirteen minutes out of your day and watching this short film. When you do, let us know in the comments below what you thought of it or hit us up on Twitter, Facebook, and Google+. Even better, drop Costa a note in his YouTube video comments showing some appreciation. Oh, and if you’re worried you won’t see Harrison Ford in another sci-fi film, look no further than 2017’s Blade Runner 2049.
