Games can earn three zSilver per minute by playing games, up to a maximum of 900 per day.

Unless you’re raking in the dough participating in eSports, gaming can be a huge money sink for most. Razer has announced a “Paid to Play” program that will allow gamers to earn zSilver currency while playing certain video games.

“The concept of everyday gamers getting paid to play has never been done before,” says Min-Liang Tan, Razer CEO and co-founder. “Gamers may reap the benefits of a rewards system simply by doing things they’re already doing.”

“The world of gaming is the ultimate even playing field, representing every kind of person in the world. We are excited about helping good people to get Razer products wherever they are, whatever their situations, and regardless of what game their playing, as long as they are gamers.”

Games can earn three zSilver per minute by playing games including Paladins, League of Legends, DOTA 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and OverWatch when launched from Razer Cortex using a verified Razer ID. A daily limit of 900 zSilver can be earned each day. Razer has chosen these titles as they are the most popular games played by Razer users.

The saved currency can be exchanged for Razer products, discount vouchers, and exclusive swag available in the zSilver Rewards Catalog, including the Razer Mamba Chroma gaming mouse, Razer Blackwidow Chroma, and the limited edition Razer Mug Holder. The Mug Holder will be made exclusively redeemable with zSilver and can be “purchased” for 100,000 zSilver.

To give gamers a head start, the first two weeks of the “Paid to Play” program will reward users with six zSilver per minute instead of three.
