Up until recently, game demos were non-existent on the Xbox One. That has changed recently as games like NHL 15 have had a demo, and now the anticipated racing game Forza Horizon 2 is getting the demo treatment as well.
Xbox has been showing off Playground Games’ second installment in the Forza Horizon series at shows like E3, Gamescom, and PAX. Those gamers not lucky enough to be able to go to any of those events will be able to play a limited version of the game starting on September 16 – two weeks before the September 30th launch. It’s unclear how much of the map will be available, and only a select handful of cars will be selectable in the demo.
As well, for those achievement
whores hunters like me, the list of 50 achievements for the game has been released.
Demo or not, I’m looking forward to being able to play the game a couple weeks early!
Along with the other updates that have come recently to the Xbox One, the recent addition of demos as well is definitely most welcome. What do you think about demos? Have they convinced you to buy a game you might not have, or have they convinced you not to buy a game you were planning to?
