Fibbage, the new lying, bluffing, fib-till-you-win trivia party game from the makers of YOU DON’T KNOW JACK! is making its way to Playstation 3 and Playstation 4 consoles next week.
In case you missed our previous review of the Xbox One version, Fibbage is one of those fun party games you just can’t pass up. Simply fire up the game on your console, then everyone playing heads over to Fibbage.com on their mobile devices, enters the room code and a player name, and away you go.
The actual game itself consists of a series of questions over three rounds, and the objective is to guess the right answer while fooling your opponents into picking your answer. Once a category is picked, players enter their best lie on their devices, then everyone gets a chance to choose the correct answer from a list of options shown on the TV screen. You earn points for picking the truth or by having others pick your lie – but you lose points if you pick the lies that the game slips in amongst the other choices. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins.
Although it’s meant to be played locally, Fibbage streams can be found on Twitch. Since you use your smartphone to submit and guess the answer, many of the streams allow you to join in on the fun. The game will also use the same question set as the Xbox One version, and there are no plans to bring the game to the Xbox 360 due to technological limitations.
The game will be cross-buy, which means you only have to buy it once and you can play it on both your Playstation 3 and Playstation 4. Look for Fibbage in the Playstation Store for the low price of $6.99USD on September 16th!
