As you’ve noticed, we took the site down for a couple hours tonight and slapped on a fresh coat of paint! We’ve grown a LOT in the past year, and we couldn’t have done it without all our readers and supporters. Over the past few weeks we got together and decided the time was here to take the site up to the next level visually – and functionally – speaking.
Aside from a new responsive design (including responsive video resizing) which works across a variety of devices from desktops to tablets and smartphones, we’ve added a few new features to the site as well. First, you’ll notice a larger slider with the last eight articles we’ve published on the home page. Recently we’ve been getting more items that we can test and review for you, and we have a revamped review look and feel. Check our recent Ozobot review, and check back over the next couple weeks as we’ll be updating our past reviews with this new look. Additionally, we’ve add toggles for Press Releases to allow you, the reader, to expand and collapse as you see fit, a floating social share bar (we sure do appreciate all the shares we get), bigger source and download buttons, and more. We’ll also be adding a new and improved Photo Gallery layout for our reviews and other articles.
We hope you like the new design and features. Again, we’d like to thank all our readers sincerely for reading our articles and sharing them with others. A big thank you as well to a select group of people who helped us beta test and track down bugs in the new site before we launched.
