2015 Oscar Nominees: The Grand Budapest Hotel And Birdman Lead The Pack

The 2015 Oscar nominees were announced by the Academy today during a live news conference by Actor Chris Pine, Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs, and directors J.J. Abrams and Alfonso Cuarón at the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.
The Grand Budapest Hotel and Birdman tied with 9 nominations each, followed by The Imitation Game with 8 nominations. The Theory of Everything was the only film to receive a nomination in the three main categories of Best Picture, Actor in a Leading Role, and Actress in a Leading Role.
