Don't Have Time To Binge-Watch Daredevil? Watch Along With Us!

|

Netflix TV series such as Daredevil are a weird thing to watch and review. Either we need to watch it all as fast as possible and 15 hours later have one review for the whole thing, or we get reviews out quickly one after the other and flood the site with nothing but them. With Daredevil, we’re going to do something a little different here on Moargeek.
Starting April 10, our intrepid Daredevil reviewer (also known as me) will be watching two episodes a week. Reviews for each episode will be coming every Tuesday and Friday evening around 7:00 PM EST. If the idea of sitting down and watching all 13 episodes of the series seems a little daunting and you want a way to watch them at a slower pace (or you want to tell me I’m wrong about every episode as I watch it), feel free to watch while following our schedule below, check out our review, and give your own user scores and reviews!
This post will also serve as a hub where reviews will be linked from and you can get a quick glance at final scores for each episode. If you haven’t been keeping up and arrived at this page somehow don’t worry, there will not be any spoilers until you get into the actual reviews.

Schedule

Episode 1 – “Into the Ring”
April 10, 2015

Daredevil kicks things off with a great first episode. All the important information we need is there, and it’s told in an effective and fun way. Still not sold on Charlie Cox, but every other performance is right on-point. (Final score: 9.2/10)

Episode 2 – “Cut Man”
April 14, 2015

“Cut Man” follows up on Daredevil‘s fantastic debut episode with another solid outing. A few too many flashbacks and out-of-place scenes with Foggy and Karen aren’t enough to diminish an episode that features one of the best fight sequences ever in a television series. (Final score: 8.8/10)

Episode 3 – “Rabbit in a Snow Storm”
April 17, 2015

Daredevil has an excellent cast of characters to work with, and “Rabbit in a Snowstorm” proves it knows what to do with them. New ways of using the powers are revealed, and Foggy Nelson does some good old fashion lawyerin’. Another solid episode as things are due to heat up next episode. (Final score: 9.0/10)
