Another in a long line of HD remakes and definitive editions for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, you can at least score a deal on Dishonored: Definitive Edition if you own a digital copy of the original version on PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360.
If you own the game on PSN or on the Xbox 360 you should see the 50% savings when you go to the appropriate digital store to purchase the new version — and there’s no reason you shouldn’t on the Xbox 360 if you’re an Xbox Live Gold member as it was one of the free Games with Gold awhile back.
Announced at E3 2015, Dishonored: Definitive Edition is the full meal deal of the game from Arkane Studios and Bethesda that won over 100 Game of the Year awards. You can choose to blast your way or sneak your way through the game, and the Definitive Edition includes “Void Walker’s Arsenal” which offers unique character bonuses and bone charm slots, “Dunwall City Trials” which allows you to play as the Outsider, and “The Knife of Dunwall” and “The Brigmore Witches” DLC which allow you to play as the assassin Daud.
Dishonored: Definitive Edition is set to release on August 25, 2015, and there’s no word as to how long this 50% deal will last. Sorry physical copy owners, it looks like you’re out of luck.
Does a 50% off price tag make it more enticing to pick up a game you already own and have probably played through on the last-gen systems? Let us know in the comments below, or on Google+, Twitter, or Facebook.
