Young Horses’ “fatherhood simulator” Octodad: Dadliest Catch is coming to the Xbox One on August 26. In addition to the full game, you’ll also get all of the “Shorts” DLC for the game.
It’s is a game about destruction, deception, and fatherhood. The player controls Octodad, a dapper octopus masquerading as a human, as he goes about his life. Octodad’s existence is a constant struggle, as he must master mundane tasks with his unwieldy boneless tentacles while simultaneously keeping his cephalopodan nature a secret from his human family.
Previously released for PC via Steam, the PlayStation 4, and the PS Vita, Octodad will be coming to the Xbox One via the ID@Xbox program and the developer says that they are looking into possible alternate control schemes unique to the Xbox One and will have more information on that at a later date.
