We reviewed the House of Marley Chant Bluetooth speaker in the past and were suitably impressed with it. Now the company has added the Chant Sport to its Bluetooth speaker lineup, and the new speaker produces even bigger and bolder sound from the 360 degree sound chamber inside the recycled IPX7 water-resistant exterior.
“A water resistant speaker has always been part of House of Marley’s dream product lineup,” says Sam Vanderveer, Senior Vice President and General Manager of House of Marley. “As we continue to grow it’s important our products represent the Marley family and innovation in electronics and style, and the Chant Sport is an exciting addition that does just that.”
The Chant Sport is powered by two 4.5 watt, 1.75″ drivers and has two passive radiators to provide booming sound without compromising House of Marley’s signature audio quality. By adding the IPX7 water-resistance rating, the latest Chant speaker is perfect for outdoor use. It also features Bluetooth 4.0 and an auxiliary input allowing easy connection to smartphones, and non-Bluetooth music players. When connected to a smartphone, the Chant Sport also doubles as a hands-free speakerphone. The rechargeable battery boasts up to eight hours of play time.
House of Marley’s audio line not only deliver the Marley “Signature Sound,” but Marley products are also crafted from sustainable earth-friendly materials which include their exclusive REWIND™ fabric, cotton and canvas textiles, recycled plastics and metals, bamboo and Forest Stewardship Council-certified woods.
House of Marley Chant Sport is available at thehouseofmarley.com for $119.99USD.
