Xbox promised a monthly update after launching their Xbox One Backward Compatibility program to the masses last month. Starting with over 100 Xbox 360 games playable on the Xbox One, three more were added this month with the Xbox Games with Gold program. As of today, 16 new games join the list including classics like Fable III and Portal: Still Alive, as well as the fan favourite Halo:Reach which almost completes the Halo series as being playable on the Xbox One.
The 16 games added today include:
- Braid
- DEUS EX: HUMAN REVOLUTION
- Doritos Crash Course
- Fable III
- Halo: Reach
- Hydro Thunder
- Iron Brigade
- Kane & Lynch 2
- Motocross Madness
- MS. PAC-MAN
- Peggle
- Portal: Still Alive
- Spelunky
- Splosion Man
- Ticket to Ride
- Zuma’s Revenge!
If you own any of these games digitally, they should show up in your Ready to Install section on the Games screen of your Xbox One. If you own physical copies of any of these, simply insert your Xbox 360 game disc into your Xbox One to start the installation process.
You can always stay up to date with our complete Xbox One Backward Compatibility list. If a game you’re hoping for isn’t on the list yet, you can add your request on the Xbox Feedback forums. Currently games like Halo Wars, Bioshock Infinite, Call of Duty: Black Ops, and a few others are listed as being “in progress” so hopefully we’ll be seeing them soon!
