Rock Band Track Export To Rock Band 4 Now Available

|
, ,

Long time Rock Band players who previously exported their Rock Band tracks into Rock Band 2 and Rock Band 3 are now able to import those tracks into their copies of Rock Band 4 within the same system family.

The export will add a total of 47 tracks to your Rock Band 4 library, with a couple caveats. First, the export isn’t currently available for European users and Harmonix is working on getting the export to those users as soon as possible. Second, Bon Jovi’s “Wanted Dead Or Alive” will need to be downloaded separately on the Xbox One. Third, there are eight tracks that are currently un-exportable, but will be coming at a later time. Last, there are three tracks that have never been exportable from Rock Band into other Rock Band titles, and most likely won’t be exportable to Rock Band 4 presumably due to licensing issues. Oh, and if you didn’t previously export your Rock Band tracks into Rock Band 2 or another Rock Band game, you’ll be unable to purchase the export as that option has expired.

Tracks Exportable At A Later Date

  1. Anarchy Club – “Blood Doll”
  2. Bang Camaro – “Pleasure (Pleasure)”
  3. Death of the Cool – “Can’t Let Go”
  4. Freezepop – “Brainpower”
  5. Honest Bob and the Factory-to-Dealer Incentives – “I Get By”
  6. The Acro-brats – “Day Late, Dollar Short”
  7. Tribe – “Outside”
  8. VAGIANT – “Seven”

Tracks That Will Never Be Exportable

  1. Black Sabbath – “Paranoid”
  2. Iron Maiden – “Run to the Hills”
  3. Metallica – “Enter Sandman”

To import the tracks into your Xbox One or PlayStation 4, follow the instructions below. NOTE: you will only be able to import into the same console family, so if you previously purchased the Rock Band export on the Xbox 360, you will not be able to import them into Rock Band 4 on your PlayStation 4.
