ZUS Kevlar Cable Review: USB Cable With Lifetime Guarantee

|
, ,

nonda is at it again, expanding their ZUS product line to include some insanely strong and durable cables made to outlast their owners. The ZUS Kevlar Cable is unlike any other USB cable on the market, read on for our thoughts in our ZUS Kevlar cable lightning review.

Design

Slick. There’s no other way to describe it, it’s made of kevlar and very sporty looking. I know it’s odd to say that about a USB cable but it really is a striking design, which I think is the kevlar giving it that ninja look to it. Overall it is a nice cable and the 90 degree USB A end is an interesting take. The cables are available in Micro-USB, USB Type-C, and Lightning connector variants.

Ease Of Use

As simple as any other USB cable, plug in and go.

Performance

This thing is almost bullet proof (but not really). While I didn’t tow a car with it, my wife and I did hold one end each and let our kids hang off the middle and the cable held strong with no sign of stress. I was provided with the USB Type-C version and it meets all specs. nonda confirms that the ZUS Kevlar Cable was sent off to Benson Leung who has approved the Type-C version which should help the minds of a lot of Type-C users out there. Of course these cables are going to look good and work really well with nonda’s other ZUS product, the ZUS Smart Car Charger.
