Screen real estate can be hard to come by depending on your profession. Many computer professionals end up using two or more monitors attached to their computer or laptop in order to maximize workspace. Dell hopes that their 43″ Ultra HD 4K Multi-Client Monitor (P4317Q) will make life easier for financial institutions, trading floors, and software developers.
Designed in conjunction with financial services customers, Dell’s latest monitor gives traders and programmers a large, crisp viewing experience on a 43-inch (108 cm) screen that delivers Ultra HD 4K or four separate Full HD resolution screens without the interruption of bezels, as well as a matte finish that reduces glare and strain on eyes.
“As the top monitor brand in the world for three years and in North America for 16 years running, we want to show our commitment to our customers by teaming directly with those who would benefit most from this monitor, specifically financial traders and software developers,” said Bert Park, vice president and general manager, Dell Global Software and Peripherals. “The Dell 43 Multi-Client Monitor is a truly unique display that meets the diverse and dynamic needs of financial traders and software developers while also demonstrating ever-growing boundaries of innovation Dell is pushing.”
The Dell P4317Q monitor uses a single power connection, and also features an RS232 connection which allows IT departments to use for simple remote management. Designed to be energy efficient, the Dell 43 Multi-Client Monitor provides a 30 per cent energy consumption savings and also features dual 8W speakers.
The P4317Q also pairs with Dell Wyse thin and zero clients for secure, easy-to-manage, scalable desktop virtualization designed to keep sensitive financial data or IP in the data centre, and make the most of valuable IT resources.
The Dell 43 Ultra HD 4K Multi-Client Monitor is available from Dell for $1349.99USD.[button link=”http://accessories.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=bsd&cs=04&sku=210-AHSQ” icon=”fa-shopping-cart” side=”left” target=”blank” color=”285b5e” textcolor=”ffffff”]Purchase from Dell[/button]
