Naruto Online has a release date for the U.S.

Please excuse me while I fan-boy for a few minutes here because I’m super happy that Naruto Online will be coming to the U.S. Growing up, Naruto was my favorite Anime and Manga that I followed the most along with Death Note, Tsubasa, etc. I’ve played a few Naruto games on consoles and enjoyed them, but now I can truly be a ninja from Konoha and become Hokage as myself and not Naruto.

Next week, July 20th, the MMORPG Naruto Online will be launching here in the states in certain areas on PC thanks to Bandai Namco. The game will be free to play, so no need to take out your debit/credit card. Another cool part is that it can be played directly from the browser instead of having to download it.

The game will feature the story line and more from the Japanese Manga and Anime, so you’ll be able to see familiar faces such as Naruto (of course!), Sasuke, Pain, Shikamaru, Jiraiya, Kakashi, Itachi, etc. You will have the option of having your character choose Water, Fire, Lightning, Wind, or Earth as their element. While playing the game, you’ll have quests and gameplay modes to do while you’re on the road to be Hokage. The characters from Naruto will be able to be recruited to your team for the Combo Fighting System. The game utilizes the placement of the gamer’s ninja in order to make attacks with various skills that depend on a Bonds-system. For the game settings, you’ll see Valley of the End and Village Hidden in the Sand.

As for the voices of the characters, they will be as close as possible to the animated show’s original voices and the music will also be from the series.

If you’re a PC gamer and like Naruto, do you plan on playing the game? Let us know by leaving your comments down below, or on Google+, Facebook, or Twitter.
