Destiny‘s “Rise of Iron” came out three days ago, and already Xur has arrived for the first time and he came bearing exotic gifts as usual. Now if you’re familiar with “Rise of Iron,” you’ll know that you can climb to the top of the mountain in the new social spot Felwinters Peak, and I will let you know now Xur is not up there (thank goodness). Xur’s location is at the Reef. Once at the Reef, go down the stairs to the right and then turn right once more and Xur will be in the open room with all of his lovely gifts.
This week Xur is selling:
- Legacy Engram – 29 Strange Coins
- Twilight Garrison for Titan Class – 13 Strange Coins
- Celestial Nighthawk for Hunter Class – 13 Strange Coins
- Transversive Steps for Warlock Class – 13 Strange Coins
- Monte Carlo Auto Rifle – 23 Strange Coins
Both the Twilight Garrison and Celestial Nighthawk are from the “Taken King” expansion and will offer you 350 defense with some pretty nice specials. The Transversive Steps are from the “Rise of Iron” expansion and also offer 350 defense with some neat specials too, and of course the Monte Carlo will offer you 350 attack, so matching this gun and any armor no matter your class, you should boost up in light by a bit.
There are two weapon ornaments available that you will agive you the ability to get to change the appearance of weapons, but they’ll cost Silver Dust and not Strange Coins. The first of is Superspy for the Monte Carlo, and second is Bureau of Aeronautics for the Khvostov 7G-0X. Other than that, if you need to upgrade your Sparrow, you can always put a Plasma Drive/Stealth Drive on it for 23 Strange Coins. There’s also Heavy Ammo Synthesis, Three of Coins, Glass Needles, and Mote of Light.
