LG Watch Style, LG’s next Android Wear watch, pops up

Android Wear has had its fair share of ups and downs when it comes to manufacturers  releasing their newest smartwatches. LG was one of the first to put Android Wear inside their own smartwatch, the LG G Watch alongside Motorola coming out with their first gen Moto 360. LG continued to make more smartwatches with Android Wear inside, but they never really gained traction, much like Android Wear in general to this day.

Well, Google was looking to come out with their own smartwatch running Android Wear 2.0 that will be coming out to support Android Wear watches. They ended up creating a partnership with LG to announce the newest version of Android Wear in LG’s newest smartwatches, the LG Watch Style and LG Watch Sport. Photos of the Watch Style have surfaced and been tweeted by Evan Blass who is known for leaking this type of information.

From the looks of the Watch Style, it has some class to it that some folks may like. Another plus to that is supposedly, per rumors is that it’ll have a price tag around $249. That is less expensive than most other Android Wear watches out there today. It’s pretty close to the ASUS ZenWatch 3 which is priced at $229 which is also running Android Wear. We’ll just have to wait and see next month when Google/LG make an announcement.
