HyperX, Kingston’s gaming arm, makes some pretty decent mechanical gaming keyboards as we’ve found in our reviews here at Techaeris. The company has announced two new additions to the Alloy line-up: the Alloy Elite Mechanical Gaming Keyboard and HyperX Alloy FPS Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard.
“Further raising the bar for personalization and comfort, HyperX is excited to reveal the new Alloy Elite Keyboard with Cherry MX Mechanical switches, detachable palm rest and custom lighting features. For TKL keyboard fans, the new Alloy FPS Pro was designed in our HyperX labs specifically for them,” said Marcus Hermann, senior business manager, HyperX. “Ensuring that gamers connect and play immediately, keyboard customization options can be accessed without the assistance of software via keyboard functions.”
The Alloy Elite Mechanical Gaming Keyboard features red LED backlighting, an 18 LED light bar, custom lighting modes, dedicated media buttons, a large volume wheel, Cherry MX switches, and more. On the other hand, the Alloy FPS Pro features a space saving layout and is a tenkeyless keyboard which ditches the number pad and making it ideal for gaming on the go.
The HyperX Alloy Elite has an MSRP of $109.99USD with the Alloy FPS Pro set to retail at $79.99USD. Both keyboards will be available starting on August 21st.
