Rumours have been abundant when it comes to the iPhone 8. One of the juiciest but still unconfirmed rumors is wireless charging. RAVPower makes charging accessories and they’re banking that Apple’s unannounced device is going to have wireless charging capabilities. The company is already marketing their RAVPower Wireless Fast Charging Pad and have it up for pre-order on their website. RAVPower says the charger has 10W of output charge and supports the new iPhone and Android phones as well.

RAVPower’s GM, Allen Fung, said:

“Our sources tell us the next iPhones have special technology for wireless charging that we have in this charger. Our wireless charger will wirelessly charge the next iPhones at full speed, as well as being able to charge other mobile devices wirelessly.”

Some of the features included with the company’s new charger include:

  • 10W voltage output
  • Cord-free charging
  • Easy to use and set up
  • Small footprint
  • Outfitted with a QC 3.0 charger
  • Optional adjustable stand
  • Size: 90×15.7mm
  • Input: 9V/12V 2A Max
  • Output: 10W Max
  • Certifications: CE /FCC / RoHS

RAVPower’s Wireless Charging Pad operates on Qi-wireless charging technology, eliminating the need for cords, or even outlets. RAVPower’s Wireless Charging Pad features an industry-leading 10W voltage output — meaning faster charges for next-gen smartphones. Compatible with Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, Galaxy S7, and all Qi-enabled devices for Apple and Android.

So while we haven’t gotten any official specs or announcements, it looks like RAVPower is taking the gamble on their sources. Even if wireless charging doesn’t end up on the iPhone, this charging pad will work for those phones that do have the technology. If you’re interested in it even for your current phone, you can hit the link below to pre-order. The pad is going to cost $44.99USD without the stand or $49.99USD with the stand.
