Forza Edition cars coming to Forza Motorsport 7

Turn 10 Studios has slowly been releasing the list of cars that are going to be available at launch for the upcoming Forza Motorsport 7. Last week, the developer announced that Forza Edition cars, which made their debut in Forza Horizon 3 as Horizon Edition cars, will be making an appearance in the game.

Not only do these cars look great and drive well, but Forza Edition vehicles also offer advantages to progress your career and increase your credit balance. Each Forza Edition vehicle has built-in multipliers that will enhance your credit reward for racing and winning with it, as well as increase the XP gained while you are behind the wheel. These are tools of your racing trade that will deliver a big payoff, race after race.

Horizon Edition cars are some of the most sought after in Forza Horizon 3 and definitely help you level faster or build up your available credits more quickly — should you be lucky enough to own one. Like Forza Horizon 3, Forza Edition cars in Forza Motorsport 7 will be available as in-game rewards, through the single player Forza Drivers Cup campaign mode, on the Auction House, or in #Forzathon events (another carryover from Forza Horizon 3).

Turn 10 has also given gamers another great reason to pre-order and get the VIP membership — which already has its own in game bonuses like 100% CR bonus Mods and VIP Driver Gear — as the five included cars in the VIP Car Pack are… Forza Edition cars! The FE cars included are the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Super Sport Forza Edition, the 2013 Ram Runner Forza Edition, the 2012 Nissan GTR Forza Edition, the 1992 Ford Escort RS Forza Edition, and the 2014 BMW M4 Forza Edition.

As you can see in the featured image above, the company has also teased another FE car – the 2017 Ford GT Forza Edition. It’s definitely a slick looking ride. While I am looking forward to FE cars in the game, the drawback, as I found in Forza Horizon 3, is that if you get a good one — like an XP boost car — you might find yourself using that one 99% of the time and not experiencing the vast garage of cars available in the game.
