It’s been a long time coming and I’m sure we all knew that this day would come. Could this be the last “Where is Xur and what is he selling” article? We first started doing this to help players find Xur, everybody’s favorite Agent of the Nine, and find out what kind of goods he was selling. With Destiny 2 coming out on the 6th, and the uncertainty as to how exotic weapons and items will be handled in the future, it may just make sense to end this chapter here. Well, let’s get to it and see what Xur has this weekend before Destiny 2 comes out.
Given Xur’s usual locations, he’s never been anywhere new which is sort of a bummer and it’s still not going to change. This week Xur can be found hanging out at the Tower right at the hanger. When you spawn in at the Tower, go right and head up the little bit of stairs and just follow the path until you reach the hangar entrance. Xur will be immediately to your right. You really can’t miss him.
This weekend Xur is selling:
- Legacy Heavy Weapon Engram – 29 Strange Coins
- Ruin Wings (Gauntlets) for Titan Class – 13 Strange Coins
- Shinobu’s vow (Gauntlets) for Hunter Class – 13 Strange Coins
- Purifier Robes (Chest Armor) for Warlock Class – 13 Strange Coins
- Plan C (Fusion Rifle) – 23 Strange Coins
- Invective w/ Storm’s Reproach ornament – 30 Strange Coins and 25 Silver Dust
- Trespasser w/ Fallen Assassin ornament – 30 Strange Coins and 25 Silver Dust
Xur is also offering the usual upgrade to your Sparrow, which includes the Plasma Drive, or the Emerald Coil for 23 Strange Coins. There’s also Heavy Ammo Synthesis for 1 or 3 Strange Coins, Glass Needles for 3 Strange Coin/3 Mote of Light/1 exotic shard, a Mote of Light for 2 Strange Coins, Exotic Shard for 7 Strange Coin, and Three of Coins is available for 7 Strange Coin.
Xur could still make an appearance in Destiny 2, and if he does return you know we’ll be writing up articles again on his locations. At this point we just don’t know since we’ve really only seen what Bungie has shown us in the recent beta. What are your thoughts about Xur’s offerings this weekend?
