Personalized Xbox Year in Review now live for Xbox gamers

One of the features I’ve long enjoyed about Xbox consoles are the Achievements and resulting Gamerscore that follows. Each year, the company unveils an Xbox Year in Review which provides gamers with a snapshot of their gaming achievements over the year. This year, the Year in Review only covers progress through the end of October so it’s not entirely accurate.

In addition to your earned Gamerscore and number of achievements, the personalized review also displays your most played games, genres, and busiest month. The review also compares your stats and rank with that of others in your region, as well as your hours played against the world average (which is 191 hours). There are some moving elements to the review, but sadly it’s not interactive even though some of the elements beg to be clicked on, scrolled, or dragged.

Check out an example of what you can expect when you check out your Xbox Year in Review below, then hit yours up in the link at the bottom of the page! Microsoft has even made it easy for you to share yours on Facebook or Twitter if you choose.

Personally, I would have loved to see this released early in January so it covers progress during the entire year. Have you checked out your Xbox Year in Review yet? What was your most played game or other favourite stat? Did any of your stats surprise you? Let us know in the comments below or on Google+, Twitter, or Facebook.
