Netflix has been on a roll lately in their joint releases with Marvel, kicking out seasons left and right. Sure, there have been a few stinkers mixed in but for the most part we’ve seen some quality entertainment from this partnership. Up next for Netflix we’re getting Marvel’s Jessica Jones Season 2. Ahead of its release on March 8th, Netflix has released a trailer to show a little bit of what we can expect in Season 2. You can check out the full trailer below:

Is Jessica ready to face her past? Will facing it make her worse?

In the first official trailer of “Marvel’s Jessica Jones” Season 2, seen above, Jessica seeks to uncover the truth about the car accident that killed her whole family and the horrific experiments performed on her all while a killer is on the loose in Hell’s Kitchen.

Get ready to discover Jessica’s troubled past when Season 2 of “Marvel’s Jessica Jones” premieres with 13 one-hour episodes on March 8 at 12:01 am PT globally on Netflix.

Call me crazy, but the purple tint and the clapping hands at the end remind me an awful lot of Season 1 villain Killgrave. Sure, he met his demise at the end of Season 1, but someone who is that deeply ingrained into the mind and psyche of Jessica Jones won’t likely disappear that easily. Couple that with the fact that we know David Tennant is returning in some form for Season 2 and it’s not much of a stretch. With Jessica digging back into her past, it’s likely we’ll see the Purple Man wreaking some havoc, and possibly distracting from whatever new threat is exposed in the new season.
