FH3 #Forzathon February 9-15th: “Getting Spicy”

Another week, another #Forzathon event! This time, we’re “Getting Spicy” with Playground Games in the weekly Forza Horizon 3 #Forzathon event. The FH3 #Forzathon February 9 – February 15th event gives you a chance to pick up the Porsche Cayenne Turbo alongside the usual Credits, XP, and Wheelspins. In case you missed the update a few weeks ago, it’s also playable in 4K 30fps glory after the recent Xbox One X Enhanced patch for all you Xbox One X owners out there.

This FH3 #Forzathon event started today, February 9th, at 12:01 a.m. PT and closes at 11:59 pm PT on February 15th so you have until the wee hours of February 9th (depending on your time zone) in order to complete the challenges.

Check out the complete task list and rewards below:

  • Stir the Pot: Perform 20 Barrel Rolls Skills to receive 100,000 CR
  • Hot Laps: Complete 5 Races in a Sport Utility Hero to win the Porsche Cayenne Turbo
  • Heating Up the Track: Complete a Race in the Porsche Cayenne Turbo to earn 35,000 XP
  • Flames Of Victory: Win a Championship in a Porsche to win 3 Wheelspins

Interestingly enough, the “Flames of Victory” didn’t show up when we logged in, so hopefully, this isn’t another bug like the one present in the recent Forza Motorsport 7 #Forzathon. At any rate, nothing to difficult this week as far as the challenges go. Barrel Roll Skills can be a bit tricky, the best spot for this is to head over to the Timber Mill and launch off the log piles to perform the barrel roll.

Completing 5 races in a race is pretty easy to win the Porsche Cayenne Turbo. After you’ve won it, get in and create a custom Championship and you’ll be able to complete the last two challenges — assuming you win the Championship. If you already own the Porsche Cayenne Turbo, you can double up on “Hot Laps” and “Flames of Victory” with a five race championship to score a second Cayenne Turbo you can then auction off at the Auction House.

What do you think about the “Getting Spicy” FH3 #Forzathon event and the vehicle up for grabs? Let us know in the comments below or on Google+Twitter, or Facebook.
