It’s that time again for another edition of “Where is Xur and what is he selling?” This weekend, May 4-8th, Xur is over at the Hanger at the Tower, so spawn in and make your way towards him. Take a look below to see what exotics Xur is selling this week in Destiny 2.
What is Xur selling this weekend?
- Fated Engram – 97 Legendary Shards
- The Colony (Grenade Launcher) – 29 Legendary Shards
- Mk. 44 Stand Aside (Leg Armor) for Titan Class – 23 Legendary Shards
- Shinobu’s Vow (Gauntlets) for Hunter Class – 23 Legendary Shards
- The Stag (Helmet) for Warlock Class – 23 Legendary Shards
- Three of Coins – 31 Legendary Shards
Weapon: The Colony (Grenade Launcher)
The Colony came out with the “Curse of Osiris” expansion DLC and comes with two perks. The first, Insectiod Robot Grenades, causes missed shots to turn into little robots that track down nearby enemies. The second perk, Serve the Colony, automatically reloads the clip if the weapon is stowed for a short period of time. This weapon is worth picking up if you like playing PVP modes.
Titan Gear: Mk. 44 Stand Asides (Leg Armor)
These exotic boots aren’t necessarily new, but they were brought back with the “Curse of Osiris.” Its main perk — Seriously, Watch Out — grants an overshield when sprinting at full health with Seismic Strike, Hammer Strike, or Shield Bash equipped. Hits with these abilities recharge a portion of your melee energy.
Hunter Gear: Shinobu’s Vow (Gauntlets)
The perk New Tricks that comes with Shinobu’s Vow improves your skip grenade and grants you an extra skip grenade.
Warlock Gear: The Stag (Helmet)
The Stag also carried over from Destiny but the perk is completely different than what it used to be. The perk Dearly Departed gives you Rift energy when you’re close to death. After you die, you’ll also drop a healing rift letting your teammates heal up. This exotic is great for anyone who will be joining in some Trial matches or teaming up for some Raids.
As always, these exotic items have a power level of 305 (base 300 with +5 mod) so for those with a lower power level, this should help you out.
