Master & Dynamic is an audio company we’ve followed since their inception back in 2014. The company has built a reputation for premium sound and a luxury lifestyle. We’ve enjoyed most of their products here and now they’ve got something new to show off. The Master & Dynamic MW50+ headphones are coming with an interesting twist.

“We build sound tools for creative minds, and we understand just how wide-ranging that spectrum can be. From Day One we’ve been obsessed with designing the perfect headphones for the creative community. We understand how these professionals live, work, play, and relax, and wanted to develop a product that could move with them throughout their day. Now, for the first time, the decision is not about on-ear versus over-ear, but simply which color.” – Master & Dynamic’s Founder and CEO Jonathan Levine.

Master & Dynamic has touted the longevity of its products since its inception in 2014. The MW50+ Wireless On-Ear + Over-Ear Headphones make good on this promise, allowing users to customize their listening experience by switching between on-ear and over-ear ear pads, delivering unprecedented versatility built for a variety of different scenarios.

The new MW50+ headphones will be available in a variety of colorways including Silver/Brown, Silver/Black, and Black/Black. The price tag for the MW50+ is $399USD which is not a bad price at all, considering the great sound M & D delivers. You can pre-order them now on M & D’s website.

I love the idea of one set of headphones that you can make either on-ear or over-ear depending on what the user prefers. It will be interesting to see how this idea works for the company. Personally, I’m a fan of over-ear headphones but I know plenty of people who love on-ear.

What do you think of these headphones? Are you a fan of Master & Dynamic headphones and earbuds? Let us know in the comments below or on Google+, Twitter, or Facebook.
