If you’ve been eyeballing the LG K30 but just haven’t wanted to pull the trigger on the $225USD price tag, Amazon has a deal for you. Amazon has announced that the LG K30 will now be available on the Amazon Prime Exclusive Phone lineup. Because of that, you will see significant savings over the retail price on this phone. The Amazon pricing is going to be a wallet-friendly $139.99USD.

Prime Exclusive Phones are available at discounted pricing for Prime members and provide a single sign-on experience offering Prime members easy access to their Prime benefits. Prime Exclusive Phones come pre-loaded with the most popular Amazon apps, with access to thousands of popular movies and TV shows with Prime Video, over two million songs and thousands of playlists and stations with Prime Music, free unlimited photo storage with Prime Photos, free two-day shipping on millions of items, and more.

It used to be that these phones had lockscreen ads that were a bit annoying to many. Amazon has since changed that policy and having reviewed a few, I can say they’re just as good as the regular version.

The LG K30 has the following features and specifications:

  • 5.3-inch display with 1280×720 resolution
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor
  • 2 GB of RAM
  • 16 GB internal storage, with the option to add up to 2 TB of storage with microSD
  • 8 MP rear-facing camera
  • 5 MP front-facing camera
  • Android Nougat (7.1)
  • Easy to access Alexa app, conveniently located in the center position of the favorites tray. Plus, customers can now set Alexa as their default assist app after updating the Alexa app.

These aren’t flagship specs because this is a budget phone and a nicely priced one I might add but it’s enough to get the job done for plenty of users. The LG K30 is also one of the phones that can use T-Mobile’s Band 71, or the 600MHz spectrum, which will help with rural area coverage. That’s probably going to be a big pull for those customers who want to use T-Mobile but live in outlying areas where signal is hard to come by.

You can find the LG K30 on Amazon along with a handful of other Prime Phones.
