Samsung announced the all-new Galaxy J3 and J7 will roll out through select retail and carrier partners starting in early June and throughout the summer. Retailers and carriers will be setting their own prices but we do know AT&T will launch at $209.99USD. The 2018 Galaxy J3 & J7 are high quality, budget-friendly smartphones for every lifestyle, including parents looking for their teen’s first smartphone in advance of the back-to-school season or an aging in place family member looking for an inexpensive upgrade.
These “easy-to-use” Galaxy smartphones have many of the features you expect from Samsung, including a bright HD display for on-the-go entertainment and a high-quality front and rear-facing camera for crisp, clear group photos or selfies.

The Galaxy J3 and J7 are high-quality devices that give users everything they need. The J3 has a bright, 5.0” HD display that’s perfect for watching hit movies and the latest TV shows. The easy-to-use 5MP (F2.2) front and 8MP (F1.9) rear cameras take crisp, clear selfies and group photos. And with a great, long-lasting battery, users don’t have to worry about carrying an extra power pack or finding an outlet.
For consumers who want more—more display, a better camera, and an even more powerful battery—the Galaxy J7 delivers. Its phablet-sized, 5.5” HD display brings a big screen to a slim form factor for an immersive entertainment experience. The 13MP (F1.9) front and 13MP (F1.7) rear cameras are engineered for the low-light environments in which we take most of our pictures, like restaurants and concerts. And with a large battery, users can watch, share, surf and play for longer.
“When it comes to smartphones, we know that one size doesn’t fit all. The Galaxy lineup is designed to give consumers the flexibility to choose the phone that best fits their needs,” said Justin Denison, senior vice president, Mobile Product Strategy and Marketing at Samsung Electronics America. “The J3 delivers high-quality features at a great price, and the J7 with its huge HD screen and amazing, advanced camera, is built for users who want more.”
Galaxy J3 and J7 are great in the workplace as well, offering the defense-grade, multilayered protection of Samsung Knox right out of the box.
