The free-to-play team-based shooter from Hi-Rez Studios, Paladins, is hitting the Nintendo Switch tomorrow and features crossplay with the Xbox One.

The studio has been working over the past few months to bring the game to Nintendo’s portable console. Built on a custom in-house Unreal Engine 3 port, Paladins on the Nintendo Switch runs at 60fps in both handheld and docked modes. As mentioned above, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One gamers will be able to face off with and against each other with crossplay multiplayer.

While the game is free-to-play, Hi-Rez Studios is only offering access on the Nintendo Switch on June 12th for those who purchase the Founder’s Pack. A free-to-play version will be coming later this summer but in the meantime, the Founder’s Pack does offer all current 36 Champions, all future Champions, and some Founder Exclusive cosmetics.

Paladins is set in a vibrant fantasy world and features a diverse cast of Champions ranging from sharpshooting humans to mech-riding goblins, mystical elves, and jetpack-clad dragons. Each Champion brings a unique set of abilities to the battlefield and new Champions are regularly added to the game, keeping it exciting.
