Fortnite Season 5 Week 3 challenges: Deal damage, shoot clay pigeons, and more

Fortnite Season 5 is here with new improvements, bug fixes, double pump fixes (finally), a new area, and more! There are all new challenges that allow for players to get more emojis, skins, pickaxes, XP, and V-Bucks. Things are a little different this season in regards to the challenges. Epic has split up the challenges to allow players who don’t have a Battle Pass to get some free ones done each week. Those who did purchase a Battle Pass will still see the same challenges with some bonus challenges for having the Pass.

Let’s dive right into the challenges! There are still seven of them, but as mentioned above, they’ve been split into two groups each with their own “hard” challenge. Those who do not have the Battle Pass will have to deal 500 damage to opponents in a single match. You can easily get this challenge done by taking out opponents one by one. The second challenge is to use a launch pad. If you’re lucky enough to pick one up or in a squad and your mates pick one up, you’ll complete this with no problem. For the third challenge, you will have to follow the treasure map that is found in Flush Factory.

Those players with the Battle Pass will still get the three challenges mentioned plus these next four. In the first challenge, you will need to search seven chests in Fatal Fields. The second challenge is to shoot a Clay Pigeons in five different locations. As for the third challenge, you will need to eliminate five opponents in Haunted Hills. Ending with the fourth challenge, you will be required to get three explosive weapon eliminations.

Week 3 challenges

  • Deal damage to opponents in a single match (500): 5 Battle Stars
  • Use a launch pad (1): 5 Battle Stars
  • Hard: Follow the treasure map found in Flush Factory (1): 10 Battle Stars

Battle Pass

  • Search chests in Fatal Fields (7): 5 Battle Stars
  • Shoot a Clay Pigeon at different locations (5): 5 Battle Stars
  • Hard: Eliminate opponents in Haunted Hills (5): 10 Battle Stars
  • Hard: Explosive weapon eliminations (3): 10 Battle Stars

Check back next week for the Season 5 Week 4 to see what Epic Games has in store for all those who like getting challenges done first and then taking out enemies and claiming victory as the last one standing.
