The Forza Motorsport 7 #Forzathon August 3-9th event lets you snag a 2016 Rolls-Royce Dawn, a Mini Cooper S Forza Edition, and the Mechanic Driver Gear. This #Forzathon event started on August 3rd at 10:00 a.m. PT and closes at 11:59 p.m. PT on August 9th so you have into the wee hours of August 10th (depending on your time zone) to finish the challenges and snag the rewards.

Check out the complete challenge list and rewards below for the newly added challenges.

  • The Racer: Complete the Challenge to receive the Mechanic Driver Gear
    • Complete a Race in an A-Class Car
  • A Proper Get-Together: Complete both Challenges to receive the 2016 Rolls-Royce Dawn
    • Win a Race in a Car from the United Kingdom
    • Complete 4 Laps at Brands Hatch in the Rain
  • Misfit Mayhem: Complete all Challenges to receive the 1965 Mini Cooper S Forza Edition
    • Win a Race in a Forza Specials division car
    • Complete a Race in a Major Micros division car
    • Complete a Race where you go at least 121mph in a Track Toys division car

As with previous #Forzathon events, these can be completed in Free Play mode and setting the number of Drivatars to 0 to guarantee a win. Unless otherwise specified, set the race to a Timed Race for 30 seconds and let the timer run out to complete/win the race.

The Racer

Once you’re in Free Play mode, select an A-Class car, let the timer run out, and you’ll be rewarded with some snazzy new Mechanic Driver Gear.

A Proper Get-Together

Next, change your car to any car from the United Kingdom, let the timer run out, and you’ll be on to the next event. Change the track to Brands Hatch Indy Circuit (it’s the shortest one), set it to a Circuit Race with four laps in the rain, and finish the race to complete this challenge set. Once completed, you’ll get your 2016 Rolls-Royce Dawn.

Misfit Mayhem

To start off the final set of challenges, change the car division to Forza Specials, select one, let the timer run out, and proceed to the second event of this task list. Next, change the race type back to Timed Race, Major Micros division, and let the timer run out. For the last challenge, change the game type to Drag, set it to Track Toys, and 0 Max Drivatars. Select an S-Class Track Toys car like the 2014 BAC Mono and make sure to hit 121mph (195km/h) to finish up this challenge set and snag your 1965 Mini Cooper S Forza Edition. For the record, this can easily be done on a 1/4 mile drag track.

Combining Challenges

Unlike the past couple of weeks, you can double up on some of the tasks this week. For starters, you can choose an A-Class car from the United Kingdom like the 2013 Aston Martin V12 Vantage S or any number of Bentleys, Jags, Rolls-Royces, or TVRs to finish The Racer and the first task from A Proper Get-Together.

Next, switch over to Brands Hatch Indy Circuit, select rain, Forza Specials division cars, and complete the four laps to finish up A Proper Get-Together and the first task from Misfit Mayhem. That’ll get you another two tasks down in one go to speed up the process.

All said and done, it really shouldn’t take you more than 15-20 minutes from start to finish… personally, I’d like to see more challenge in these “challenges.” What about you?

What do you think about the changes to the Forza Motorsport 7 #Forzathon events and the vehicles and Driver Gear up for grabs this week? Are the tasks too easy? Let us know in the comments below or on Google+Twitter, or Facebook.
